Passion for God?

KoreanmanWhat drives an old man to stand in the middle of a crowded Bourke Street Mall (right across the most crowded corner of the Nike store front), in funny clothes and attire...with a hula hoop around the waist...and a great BIG SMILE on the face...A great love for God...

This man that you see in the picture (with the Jamaican colourful hat and green attire) is an old Korean man who is raising money to build a church in Korea. He doesn't speak English but bows humbly and smiles and waves at everyone who drops even the smallest amount of coins into the coin box. He writes on his cardboard his testimony of how God changed his life and he wants to give back by raising money for a church building. This is no small feat...we know how much it can cost. One man can believe God to provide so much. How about us? How big is our faith...

He may not be a Big time Evangelist like Reinhard Bonnke. He may not be leading a church of 12,000 people. But I am certain that when God looked down from heaven and saw this man, in the middle of Bourke Street Melbourne, He would have smiled and said, "My good and faithful servant. Come and share in your Master's happiness."

What is your Passion?

"Love the Lord your God, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength."
